The following Mission Statement was written by George Wesley Criddle (now managing member of Criddle & Company LLC), on December 22nd, 2007:
The mission of Criddle & Company is to deliver only the highest quality photographic images, video, and web development services to our customers. Our customer relationships are based on the principles of respect and mutual benefit. Our success depends upon delivering services that make money for our customers.
In order to do that, I (we) realize that I (we) have to create sleek, sharp, and even stunning images and video packaged in a presentation and format that people simply can’t help but notice, and these high quality services must be made available to our customers at a reasonable price.
In addition, I (we) endeavor to provide our customers with the peace of mind that their photography and/or web services are in the hands of professionals who understand that meeting the expectations that our customers’ businesses demand is a privilege we must earn every day—not an entitlement.
The Criddle & Company staff is made up of common people who possess an uncommon desire to succeed. Our logo, which bears the face of my father, George Taylor Criddle, is—to us—a symbol of honor and heritage.
Every member of the Criddle & Co. team proudly accepts the responsibility of his or her profession as a lifestyle; it’s not just a job.
Our firm will never give up on a customer’s project, or stop trying to find a new, better, and more efficient way of satisfying their needs—regardless of the day of the week, and/or hour of the day. Thinking outside the box is more than just a slogan at Criddle & Co.—it’s our responsibility.
Our loyalty and dedication to our customers and investors is beyond reproach. My father, Mr. Criddle, would have had it no other way. The nature of our business demands intelligence, discipline, and innovation. Our business acumen, technical proficiency, and attention to detail are what separate us from most of our competitors. We never say “no” to a customer without offering an alternative. Our customers count on us to be better, and more efficient than our competitors; they count on us to make their products or services look better, and operate more efficiently.
Whether it’s the best of times, or the worst of situations, the legacy of my father steadies my (our) resolve, and silently guides my (our) every deed. For this reason, we chose his likeness and name for the company. Whenever any of us ever needed to borrow some confidence, courage, or moral guidance—we could always go to Mr. Criddle. He had plenty to spare, and kindly offered it in abundance. Therefore, I (we) cannot—and will not—fail to live up to the standards and expectations he had for me (us).
