Over the last decade, I have been very protective of my foray into photography...so protective that I kept my prints in a small box where no one could find them-even though many were excellent, I was reluctant to show them to my family and friends because of the trepidation that they might ask me something like, "Have you ever considered doing this professionally?" I knew on the inside I did, but it was a question I really never wanted to answer until I could do so unequivocally. In 2008, Criddle and Company was conceived.
Before 2008, my images (mostly 35mm slides) remained in that box, until I finally made up my mind that I was ready to throw my hat in the ring and put my images out on the market for sale, and ultimately enter the crowded field of professional photography…of course, not without making the cursory investment in digital cameras and pro lenses that easily exceeded the cost of a brand new E-class Mercedes-Benz.
Unlike many photographers, the sale of my images as stock photos was never my intent. By trade, I am an aviator, and marketing and public relations professional for the sporting travel industry.
I create images with the intent to instill a desire in the potential buyer to:

- Envision themselves doing what the person in the image is doing…
